Tip of the Day: The Pencil is Mightier Than the Sword
Squeaky door hinges can be fixed with a pencil. Just rub the point over the hinge. Pencils contain graphite, which is an effective lubricant. Rubbing a pencil over the ridges of a stubborn house key will also help it slide into the lock more easily.
